I was supposed to start at the hospital today. I woke up really early again so I decided to run to the hospital. I forgot my running shoes so I ran barefoot. It was mostly fine there were 2 patches of about 100m where the pavement got really rough but other than that it was good. The sidewalks are very smooth and clean. I got to the hospital early which was a good thing because it took me forever to find the actual hospital building after I entered the medical centre. Even better it wasn't even where I was supposed to go. By the time I met up with Merv I was half an hour late. That was ok though because my placement for the day fell through anyway. Instead I attended practical classes for the physiotherapy students. I helped correct and instruct even though the entire class was in Hebrew. So by the end of it I was there 10-1pm. I walked home because I had planned to stop for lunch. I made it 7km of the way back without seeing a place I liked. On my way I got a rock in my foot. How ironic. I run barefoot-no problems. I walk with shoes-rock in my foot. After the rock I gave up on lunch and just went home.
I went with Estella and another one of her friends to see the community menorahs for the last night of Hanukkah. Afterward we lit candles with her neighbor.
I was going to go out for dinner but fell asleep instead. It rained really hard all night. Maybe it was because my window was open but the thunder was really loud in a peacefull way.
