Today I was in the geriatric rehabilitation centre. I was able to do a bit more today and I made a point to ask heaps of questions because questions were leading to more responsibility. I will be there for the remainder of the week. So much less exciting patients but when I can do more than watch from the corner the day goes by much faster. Today was 8:30-2:30 so I should have gone to see some of the buildings that close at 5pm. Instead I went home. It took Estella almost an hour to ask me to walk Bobo. I don't mind but the Physio in me says to tell her no because she needs the walk a lot more than I do. Unfortunately(for her long term health) I couldn't bring myself to tell her no so Bobo and I went walking. After walking the dog I ran into downtown to do an evening tour of the city. It poured the whole way so I stopped for a coffee before the tour. I had an absolutely abasing mocha. Probably one of the best I've ever had. It was the perfect balance of coffee and chocolate.
This evening I went on the night tour of Tel Aviv. They told us many of the same things as the last tour with a few new interesting rid bits. They also pointed out a few things that were mentioned on the other tour but I hadn't seen. The tour group was small and a bit older than me so we sent a lot of the tour discussing house prices in the most expensive neighborhood of the city.
Interesting fact: every house in tel aviv has to have a solar power water heater and a safe room.
