At the empty bar last night I had asked for
a breakfast recommendation for my last day in Tel Aviv. I was told to go to café Sonya, that it’s an
absolute gem. I looked it up on trip
advisor and walked the 4km there to find that I was in the warehouse district
nowhere near the café. Then I walked to
a bus station to realize that the second location was incorrect too. I finally
found in at about 12:30 by which time I was starving. The recommendation was a good one. It is a
small café with a garden patio. They gave me tea to start with then I got an
amazing Israeli breakfast and Chi tea.
It was delicious. After that I did a bit of shopping and walking. I went to visit Estella who had made me leave
a bag of things at her place in so that I would have to visit. I spent an hour showing her pictures,
discussing my trip, and discussing her week. She asked for my honest un-bias
opinion of whether Jordanians or Israelis were nicer and I told her that the
Jordanians were much kinder. She didn’t
appreciate that. Knowing that it was my last night in Israel I went in search
of Laffa. Yummy, yummy Laffa. Worth the mile I needed to walk to get it.
