Now on to my day. I woke up just before 5 and biked into uni. At that time of morning the traffic is so light that I actually made it in about 35 minutes (instead of the usual 47-55). I got to the pool before it opened and was in the water by 6:30. I did a very quick 1.5K and the went to get crepes for breakfast. At 8am an orthopedic surgeon came to talk to us about different types of knee reconstructions. After that we got a coffee break before seeing 2 respiratory patients. They both presented with community acquired bronchiectasis and we got to see different management strategies.
After class Kat and I quickly biked back to my house to change and sign the rental agreement. It is a much more intense process here than it is back home. They know that you won't read the leasing agreement, so they read it to you. Then they make you sign each of the 40 items and sign the document in 5 places. All in all it takes about an hour. I am very excited to get the keys on Tuesday. Unfortunately, Tuesday is a long day at uni so I won't be able to pick up the keys until 5pm. With any luck I'll be moved in by Wednesday. I am so excited for my new place, to be living with a friend, and to leave a stressful situation.
I promised Gillie more Elephants so here they are:
Abbie I don't know if you can see it but there's a really cute bird wrapped around his foot
I might be able to find a few more on my way to footie tomorrow.
