9/25/2015

This week have been good but very busy. I went up to Cann River on Thursday. I stopped at my new favourite restaurant, little prince. I had a taco, an dumpling, a quesadilla, and an ice cream filled macaroon. It may look like a large amount of food for one person but each item is only 1-2 bites
Damien tried to call and talk to me(hands free of course) while I was driving up but the service wasn't so good.
I had a fairly busy day at work so it was nearly dark by the time I finished. I went on a quick run through the rainforest before going in for the night.
I drove down a dirt road which promised to be beautiful but dead ended on me at the start of a river.
Saturday morning I had ambitions of going to farmer's markets. I had 7 on the list. I started out with a quick jog through cabbage tree palms.
Then I tried to go to the market in lake's entrance. When there was no market I settled for a 5km run. Where I saw seals on the rocks. Squint and you can see them too. We saw about 8 in total.
From there I headed to Bairnsdale for my favourite orchard. As usual he did not disappoint and I got 5 litres of apple juice. But I did miss the turn off for another market.
Next I headed toward Metung for a market and when I didn't see one I gave up an took a picture of this fountain.
From there I went to the sale market which was a bit quiet but I was able to get soap.
Driving along I tried to go to Wahalla for a market but took a wrong turn and ended up back on the highway home.
Next came the Warragul market which ended up just being a historical production. If you are keeping count we are 1 for 6 markets.
The last market I came into was the Drouin orchid show. It was absolutely spectacular.
I even took one home.
I got back into Melbourne and met Damien at his mum's house. We headed back into the city together to see a very funny show called "Bad Jews".
On Sunday Damien and I did a 6 hour orienteering event all over the west of Melbourne. We worked hard and got second overall out of around 30 teams.
