Day 2 at the royal talbot inpatient rehabilitation center.  I am still working on the best way to get there.  The fastest way involves a road crossing that I'm not too keen on but all other roots take me a couple of miles out of my way.  Either way I have to cross the world's scariest bridge to get there.  It is narrow enough that two people would  have trouble walking side by side, it is over a river, it has a floor of loose metal planks, and has a turn in the middle.

In clinic today we got to treat out two patients again.  So in 2 days I have seen 2 patients 6 times(one 4 times, the other twice) Our other patients unfortunately did not show up.  Instead we got a lesson on adhesive capsulitis and appropriate management.  It was interesting to match the research that I did last week with what is being used in clinical practice.  We also got to go to an exercise class for people who have recently had knee replacements.  It is interesting to see the differences between treatment here and what I saw in pittsburgh.  One of the patients that I saw clearly had chronic swelling in her legs that was slowing recovery.  I really wanted to refer her to someone to help manage the swelling but I the supervisor disagreed.  oh well.
I was feeling good and was going to go for a run this evening but I was absolutely exhausted after I got home and opted for a nap instead.  By the time I got up it was raining heavily so I postponed my run until tomorrow.
Kat made homemade pizza for dinner.  Yum! actually Yum!!!!!
